The New Ingerland general election of 1917 was held on Thursday, 20 September 1917. A Coalition Ministry consisting of Conservatives and pro-war Liberals were elected with a massive majority under the leadership of Robert Stratton. The coalition defeats a rump of anti-war Liberals and the Labour Party, who between them won just 10 seats.
