New Ingerland general election, 1975
The New Ingerland general election of 1975 was held on Saturday, 12 July 1975. The National Party, led by Jacob Meyer, was returned to office after an absence of 14 years. National defeated the Democratic Party, led by Jason Olsen, who had been installed as leader just four months earlier. The Labour Party split from 1974, led to that party losing most of it's seats to the Social Democratic Party.
