The following is a list of electoral districts for the House of Assembly between 1854 and 1868. The new districts were the first to be created in New Ingrea, and were based not on population, but on the pre-existing counties and municipal boroughs.
Franchise
The franchise varied slightly between the boroughs and counties, and was defined in the relevant legislation along the following lines:
Borough franchise
In the municipal boroughs established from 1844[1], the franchise was limited to men who were either freemen, burgesses by servitude, freeholders, and inhabitant householders; all of whom were required to pay a sum of 20 shillings before they were placed on the electoral roll.
County franchise
Elections
The first electoral districts were used for the following elections:
- New Ingrean general election, 1854
- New Ingrean general election, 1856
- New Ingrean general election, 1857
- New Ingrean general election, 1859
- New Ingrean general election, 1860
- New Ingrean general election, 1863
- New Ingrean general election, 1866

From 1854 to 1868, the House of Assembly returned a total of 52 members.
Boroughs
The nine borough electoral districts between 1854 and 1868 were:
- Corfe Harbour (2 members)
- Earnestvale (2 members)
- Hillsborough (2 members)
- Langford (2 members)
- Lunenborough (2 members)
- Pasquale (2 members)
- Port Frederick (4 members)
- Regentsmere (2 members)
- Williamsdene (2 members)
Counties
The eight county electoral districts were:
- Albanyshire (4 members)
- Beaufortshire (4 members)
- Centralia (4 members)
- Deverauxshire (4 members)
- Fitzroyshire (4 members)
- Lunen Island (4 members)
- Vernonshire (4 members)
- Westerland (4 members)
