The National War Museum is the memorial to all New Ingerish that have died in the military service of their nation. The building was opened by Arthur V on the 11 November 1953, the fifth anniversary of the armistice that ended the Great War. The museum also includes an extensive library collection of military documents and books. The museum is governed by the War Museum Trust, an executive agency that was originally created by the War Museum Act in 1950[1].
