Richard George William Norton, 1st Earl Norton (18 December 1827 – 18 June 1884), was a prominent landowner and one of the last (and richest) subscribers to the New Ingrea Company. He is chiefly remembered today as being the saviour of Lamberton family, whose near bankruptcy led to the resignation of Lord Lamberton as the first Chief Secretary.
