The Royal New Ingrean Regiment is the primary infantry regiment of the New Ingrean Army, and serves as the parent regiment for the four regular infantry battalions currently active. The regiment did not fight in the Great War, being first raised on the 2 July 1950. Since formation, the regiment has served with distinction, including a major peacekeeping and humanitarian roles with the Assembly of Nations. The Regiment also participates in the annual Trooping the Colour every November.
