Social democracy is a minor political and social philosophy in New Ingrea. New Ingrea's social democrats promote social equality and the redistribution of wealth using the existing political and social institutions of the nation, rather than through violent revolution[1].
Having always been a minor political force in New Ingrea, social democracy briefly became a major force after the Second World War through the political success of the Labour Party. However, the resurgence of liberalism in the 1950s saw social democrats relegated back to being a largely insignificant theory in New Ingrea politics. Today, social democrats remain a minor political force, behind liberals and conservatives.
