Usage

Parameters
All parameters are optional.
name
- The name of the competition; Capitalisation should match article title. If this attribute is omitted, the name will be inferred from the page title.
season
- The season in which the competition is taking place; e.g.
2014 season

- The filename of an image to use (without "Image:" or "File:" prefix), e.g.
football in 1996.jpg
imagesize
- the width in pixels for the image, e.g.
250px
Larger than 300 is not recommended. If this attribute is omitted, the image will default to 225px width. alt
- Alt text for the image. This is read out by screen readers for the visually impaired, and is displayed in place of the image when images are switched off. The caption text will immediately follow the alt text, so the two should be considered together in creating the alternative text for an image.
caption
- A caption for the image, e.g.
The corporate logo of the 2014 competition.
Captions should complement the image by bringing out details or issues that are not visually obvious. See Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Captions. premiers
- The name of winning team. Should be linked

- The number of titles won by the winning team. Should be rendered in ordinal form e.g.

- The name of team finishing first at the end of the home and away season. Should be linked

- The number of minor premierships won by the team finishing on top of the ladder. As with the premiers, the number minor premierships should be rendered in ordinal form e.g.

- List of teams promoted from lower division. In

- List of teams relegated to lower division. In

- Total number of matches for the season. Updated progressively through the season.
matches_scheduled
- Number of matches scheduled for the season. Useful for seasons that in progress.
attendance
- Total spectator attendance for the season. If the
matches_played
row is filled, this row will also give the average attendance per game for the season. highattend
- Game with the highest attendance for the season.
media
- The broadcast partner(s) for the season.
total goals
- Total number of goals kicked/scored for the season. If the
matches_played
row is filled, this row will also give the average number goals for the season. total trys
- Total number of trys scored for the season in a rugby code. If the
matches_played
row is filled, this row will also give the average number trys for the season. biggest home win
- Biggest home win for the season. Score format should be
biggest away win
- Biggest away win for the season.
highest scoring
- Highest score for the season.
goalscorer
- Top goal scorer for the season. Used for soccer, hockey, and netball. Label can be modified if it is attached to an award.
goalkicker
- Top goal kicker for the season. Used for Australian rules and rugby. Label can be modified if it is attached to an award.
pointscorer
- Top point scorer for the season. Used in any other sport.
tryscorer
- Top try scorer for the season. Used for rugby codes.
best_fairest
- Player(s) adjudged to be the best and fairest for the season. Label can be modified if there is a specific award.
