The Imperials Football Club, nicknamed the Royals, are a Huruball club that currently play in the NIFA National League Conference East. Formed in 1880, the club is amongst the oldest in the country, and principally draws it's support from the affluent middle and upper-class suburbs of Kingsbury's north-west. As a result of the stark class and cultural differences between them, Imperials longest and deepest rivalry stands with working-class Red Star, with whom Imperials contest the annual Lord Mayor's Shield in the Kingsbury derby. Imperials currently play their home matches at Castle Hill Oval, Kingsbury.
