The Kingsbury Red Star Football Club are a Huruball club that currently play in the NIFA National League Conference East. Formed in 1917, the club has a proud history and a passionate supporter base rooted in the working class suburbs of eastern Kingsbury. Red Star has a long standing rivalries with many teams, including neighbouring East Kingsbury and West Kingsbury; but the longest and deepest rivalry stands with the cross-town Imperials, with whom Red Star play for the Lord Mayor's Shield in the Kingsbury derby each year. Red Star currently play their home matches at Prospect Oval, Kingsbury.
