Amateur Cup

The Amateur Cup is an annual huruball competition that is contested by clubs in tiers 5 and below on the New Ingrea football league pyramid. The competition commenced in 1900, with the final played on the second Saturday in October as a curtain-raiser to the opening round of the Superleague 1 finals.

Imperials FC are the most successful club in the Amateur Cup, with sixteen wins. Their cross-town rivals Red Star have won fourteen cups, further fueling the depth of the antagonism of the Kingsbury derby. The 2023 cup winner was Old Collegians of Port Frederick, who claimed their eighth cup.
