Burgess and Green plc (NISX:BGH) is the parent company of Burgess and Green Hardware, the largest retailer of hardware products in New Ingrea. The company sells building tools, equipment, timber, masonry, and roofing from sixty stores across the country.
With origins dating back a century, the current company was founded in 1919 by two young builders named William Burgess and Tony Green. Both had suffered a lack of work after they were repatriated after the First World War, and decided to instead go into business and sell to handyman and builders.
