The Chapel Royal is a chapel in the grounds of Government House, located in central Kingsbury. The chapel is part of the Royal Household (a Chapel Royal and extra-parochial church outside the hierarchy of the Church of New Ingrea), and serves as the "parish church" of the Ingerish Royal Family, as well as the other inhabitants and staff of Kingsbury Palace.
The chaplaincy of the Chapel Royal is undertaken by the Dean and Chapter of the Chapel Royal, the body charged with oversight of the ecclesiastical establishment within the Royal Household. As such, the Chapel Royal currently uses an Ingrean form of worship, although it is not under the episcopal authority of the bishops and clergy of the church, and instead reports directly to the sovereign.
