A listed building or listed structure is an official list kept by the Government of New Ingerland of any sites, buildings, structures, and objects deemed worthy of preservation. The register is formally kept and maintained by the Royal National Parks Service, an executive agency of the Ministry of Conservation and Land Management.

Categories of listed building

There are three types of listed status for buildings and other structures in New Ingerland:

  • Grade I: buildings of exceptional interest.
  • Grade II: particularly important buildings of more than special interest.
  • Grade III: buildings that are of special interest, warranting every effort to preserve them.
