Television in New Ingrea
Television in New Ingrea began on 2 February 1964 with the launch of the public broadcaster Radio Television New Ingrea (RTNI). The country’s television landscape subsequently evolved to include a dual public-private system, with the introduction of commercial broadcasting in 1969 under the auspices of the Independent Television Network (ITN). Today, New Ingrea maintains a multi-channel environment overseen by an independent regulatory authority, with digital terrestrial, satellite, cable, and streaming services all contributing to a diverse and competitive media sector.
