The Independent Television Network (ITN) was the national commercial television service in New Ingrea from 1969 to 1996. Established by the Television Broadcasting Act of 1967[1]. ITN was a franchise-based system regulated by the Independent Broadcasting Commission (IBC). It operated six regionally distributed licenses, offering a mixture of local programming and shared network content in competition with the Radio Television New Ingrea (RTNI).

In 1996, The ITN franchise system was replaced by the Independent Television and Radio Network (ITRN), a centralised national broadcaster.
