History
Clubs
Clubs are classified according to a series of characteristics; such as revenue, the standard of their home ground, and on-field performance. Group 1 one clubs tend to be richer, and usually play in the top-tier competitions, whilst Group 2 clubs usually play in lower-tier leagues. The status of a club is updated in November of each year, and has some bearing on the amount of money they receive in subsidies, and may also dictate their on and off-field salary caps.
