The rate of population growth has declined somewhat since the 1970s, but remains positive.
Whilst the vast majority of immigrants have been Ingrean in origin, there are now established communities from elsewhere around the world. These communities can mostly be found in Kingsbury, Port Frederick, Corfe Harbour, and Lunenborough. Though they number less than 8% of the total population, these new migrant communities have already left their mark on New Ingrea's society and culture.
