Functional constituencies are a type of constituency used to elect members to the Senate of New Ingrea. Each of the constituencies are a professional or special interest group that have been afforded a place in the electoral process alongside the bishops, the peerage, and the general electorate. Eligible voters in a functional constituency may include natural persons as well as other designated legal entities such as organisations and corporations. The functional constituencies are a classic example of New Ingrean corporatism, the dominant socio-political philosophy of modern New Ingrea.
