The Postmaster-General’s Department (PMG) was government department responsible for postal, telecommunication, and broadcasting regulatory services in New Ingrea from the earliest days of Ulethan settlement until 1975. Established in 1842, the PMG grew to become one of the country's oldest and most influential public institutions, serving as the heart of national communication and commercial connectivity for over 130 years. Throughout its existence, the department played an essential role in enabling communication between the scattered settlements of the archipelago, supporting the dissemination of news and information, and connecting New Ingrea to the various global communication networks that evolved over time.
