Post Office of New Ingrea, formally the Postal Commission of New Ingrea and also known as PONI, is a crown monopoly responsible for providing postal service in New Ingrea.
History
Regulation
Operations
From an organisational perspective, PONI is crown monopoly fully owned by the Government of New Ingrea. The corporation is responsible for all mail operations in New Ingrea. PONI is led by a board of directors, currently chaired by Viscount Goodwin, who are assisted by a managing director who oversees the day-to-day organisation of the corporation.
PONI provides a large number of mail services as would be expected from a modern provider. By law, mail services must be regular and time, with daily deliveries made to addresses throughout the country on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Additional Saturday deliveries occur for business addresses in Kingsbury, Corfe Harbour, Swanbrook, and Port Frederick, and for all addresses during the month of December.
