The Minister of State for Trade and Industry is a Cabinet portfolio responsible for the administration of the Ministry of Trade and Industry in the New Ingerland government. The current Minister of State for Trade and Industry is the Rt Hon. Senator James Evans.

As of the opening of the 56th Parliament, all Senators and MHAs receive a salary of £1,170, plus a £47 per sitting day (not including a per diem amount for expenses). In addition, the Minister of State for Trade and Industry receives an additional salary of £918.
