The Supreme Court of Justice is the highest tier of the court system in New Ingrea. Provision for the existence of a superior court of record was establishment by way of the Supreme Court Act[1] in February 1836. The Court was reorganised in November 1912, by way of the passage of Judicature Act[2], and continues to exist under these provisions to the present day. The Supreme Court has both original and appellate jurisdiction, and the power of judicial review over laws passed by the Parliament of New Ingrea, as well as regulatory oversight of the judicial community in New Ingrea.
