The New Ingrea general election of 1932 was held on Saturday, 23 April 1932. The election proves to be a watershed in New Ingrea politics, and completely rearranges the political landscape. The Country Party win a plurality of seats, and enter in to a coalition with the Conservatives in order to form a government. Exploiting their insipid response to the Great Depression, Labour successfully target the previously solid Liberal working class vote, and are able to form the official opposition for the first time.
