The New Ingrean general election of 2004 was held on Saturday, 6 March 2004. The election saw the scandal-ridden government of Democratic Prime Minister Bill Howlett, ejected from office in the largest electoral landslide of recent times. The National Party opposition, led Jim Goodwin, were able to come to power with a handy majority.
