The Right Honourable Jason Alexander Olsen, Baron Olsen KGCM EC (born 7 October 1932), is a prominent political figure and writer. The longest serving Minister of State for Home Affairs, he went on to become the 13th Prime Minister of New Ingerland, leading the country for just over 100 days from 6 March 1975 to 28 July 1975. His term was also the second shortest for a Prime Minister, beating only the seventeen day term of Cassandra Yee. In later life, Olsen has became known as a prominent academic and political writer, and currently serves as the Regius Professor of Political Studies at University College Kingsbury.
