The Conspicuous Conduct Medal or CCM is a military decoration awarded to personnel of the New Ingrean Defence Force for act of gallantry, distinguished or meritorious service in peacetime, or actions not in the face of the enemy. The CCM was introduced in 1972 and is highest of the two conspicuous service decorations in the Orders, decorations, and medals of New Ingrea. Recipients of the Conspicuous Conduct Medal are entitled to use the post-nominal letters "CCM". To date, there have been 323 recipients of the award.
Description
- The Conspicuous Conduct Medal is a plain circular nickel-silver medal 1 1⁄2 inches (38 mm) in diameter. The obverse has a circular centre within which can be seen the Royal Cypher of the reigning monarch surmounted by a laurel wreath.
- The reverse is plain apart from the hallmark.
- The ribbon has alternating diagonal stripes of bush green and sandy.
